The DE VARGAS Foundation was born in 2011 as a private initiative promoted by the members of the board of trustees, who throughout their lives in one way or another have lived with the world of the arts in a special way.

The fascination with the work and the person of Ramón DE VARGAS is the driving force behind this initiative.

We cannot forget great people and great artists who have appeared in our childhood and in our maturity, like Venancio Blanco, Vázquez Díaz and so many others.

Throughout all these years we have learned to value and above all to respect the work of each artist.

There are many ways of expressing feelings and emotions, but art is undoubtedly one of the most complete and complex.

And that is why we will strive to disseminate the work of Ramón DE VARGAS and other artists.

The Foundation, taking into account the circumstances at any given time, shall have complete freedom to project its actions towards any of the aforementioned aims, according to the specific objectives which, in the opinion of its Board of Trustees, are a priority.

The development of the aims of the Foundation may be carried out, among other possible ways, by the following, which are listed in a non-exhaustive manner:

A) By the Foundation directly, in its own or other facilities.

B) Creating or cooperating in the creation of other entities of an associative, foundational or corporate nature.

C) Participating or collaborating in the development of the activities of other entities, bodies, institutions or persons of any kind, natural or legal, which may in any way serve the aims pursued by the Foundation.
